so here in america everyone my age is afraid the draft is gonna pwn them if Bush is like DRAFT FTW! (at least around my school) so i was just wondering, do you guys have a draft system in place like the SSS (Selective Service System) in your respective countries? and how would you react if you were drafted?

We don't have the draft, or any form of compulsory military service in the UK. The draft won't come back here again, but hypothetically speaking, I'd move to Ireland. If there was a serious need for soldiers, and a worthy cause to fight, for then I'd sign up, but not being forced to, and shipped off to another country where I can be shot at for something I didn't believe in.

yea seriously, at our school like 98% of the people here are all like "fuck war im goin to mexico and live in the sun" they dont care for anything about this country. the other 2% are in the JROTC and actually know whats going on

They do it in Poland as well, even though there's no need to have so many soldiers...
Oh, I forgot,we have Russia next door :) But in case of war, we will get nuked first.
In my humble opinion, dragging young guys and forcing them to join army is bullshit. They don't even care whether we are at school or not.
I'm gonna be drafted in a year. Well, something may change until then, but I don't feel like marching in a military uniform for a year (!) before ending my education.

No Draft in Holland. But if there was draft, then we had an amazing 500 soldiers.. Or something like that:p

I know back in WW2 they only drafted people that were not in college, so if I keep my grades up the chances are even smaller. Still say it won't happen, US public would be in madness over it.

Im already joining the Army so it really doesnt matter, plus i'll be entering as a 2nd LT so :p

ROTC or the academy, hes being commissioned as an office, im gonna go through airforce rotc and fly when i grow up so ill join as a 2nd lt too

no but I think you get candy bars in the MRE or IMP (Meals ready to eat) or (Indavidual meal portions)

Sometimes you get candy, it depends on what kind of meal, all the MRES have the same calories (wich iit has alot of for obvious reasons) The vegeterians have them most of the time. There usually just M&M's or a bar of choclate, now there is a pound cake that comes in alot of them but its messy and not that good.

yeah snake is right and you have to becarful cause the TP is shaped like the bread and the bread aint all that great either
