Well we might think it not the best game there has been made, its for sure the best selling game ever.

The record for most selling game copies on the launch day off the game was held by GTA 4 which came out april last year. They sold about 3,6 million copies!
But MF2 cracks that record like Usian Bolt is running past his opponents, on the first day the game was sold a whopping 4,7 million times!

In dollars this is estimated around the 310 million!

If you compare that whit the biggest movie release ever, The Dark Night made an estimated $158 million in the first 3 days. Well you don't have to be good in math to see MF2 made almost twice that amout of money....

This means that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the biggest entertainment launch ever!!

5 days after the release the game made over $550 million dollars and became a Icon in the entertainment business, and beated 9 records which are all first to five day records there where to beat.

And whit all that money they failed to support us, the PC gamer whit the oppertunity to play, hire and host dedicated servers.

    in perspective, halo 3's release was actually really shitty despite being easily the most hyped release of the decade (and I do mean more than MW2s release)(thanks bungie for the Halo 2 cliffhanger ending!)

    It actually does get boring, after 50 hours of SP lols, but then again, another game hooked me for 80 hours

    You have to consider that each movie ticket is only about $9 US while a single game cost $59.99 US, which is 6 times more than a ticket. Also, Prestige Edition was $149 US, which is 15 times the amount of a movie ticket. I'd have to say I preferred The Dark Knight over MW2 mainly because of the multiplayer disappointment.

    MW2 is a great game.

    -Dedicated servers are now available (If I believe what I hear)
    -The single player campaign has a storyline like none other I have enjoyed in a FPS
    -The Multiplayer is having teething problems, but once you get into it, its great fun.
    -Despite there being no dedicated servers I find I am playing with GP guys more than I was on COD4.
    -Spec Ops (with chud) ROX MAI SOX OFF

    There are some negatives, but I feel the positives far outweigh the negatives. People were expecting the perfect game, but in reality thats not going to happen. I don't think they have let us down, I think people have to give MW2 a chance.

    But still...COD4 4 LIFE

    Enjoy them both, you don't have to dislike one to like the other.

    $550 million dammmm.

    I have not got a copy of the game yet but from what pete said i am getting a copy.

    The game looks good can't wait.

    Currently buying one of two games: CoD4 or Mw2.
    Pissed I can't decide but thanks for those who've voted:

    CoD4 - 17
    Mw2 - 4

    Now let's hope I come with a clear decision once it strike Christmas Eve.

    Yea very nice numbers, but when u compare to cod4 it destinguishes like fire to water. Still the best shooting game is Cod4, cuz of the stupid MW2 IW .(I hate it)
