Google has announced the beta release of it's new browser, Chrome. Chrome is currently in BETA stage and only available on Windows, although it should be rolling out on Linux and Macs in the near future.
The launch of Chrome appears to try and compete in the browser market that is currently dominated by Internet Explorer. The great thing about Chrome, like FireFox, is that it's open source, meaning others will be able to view the source code, and from there be able to offer more
